The easybike system with Docks consists of products of high ergonomics and features while harmoniously combining different technologies providing high level services. It consists of the following elements:
- Conventional or Electric Bicycles of special construction for movement in an urban fabric
- Rental stations
- Locking and/or charging bases for bicycles
- Application for use on smart mobile phones (if it is an electric bicycle system)
- System management and service billing software
The development of the system is unique for each installation, as the individual characteristics of the component parts are configured based on each region in order to meet the needs. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out a relevant study for each installation area, in order to collect traffic parameters, demographic data, weather conditions and other information and to draw conclusions about expected traffic, charges, user behavior , support and redistribution needs.
Bicycles
The bikes of the easybike™ system are a key part of the system. They are special constructions for use within the city, while at the same time they are resistant to damage and difficult use. The bikes are designed for easy use by both genders.
Stations
The bicycle rental stations of the easybike™ system are outdoor structures (kiosks or terminals) where transactions with users take place. The basic shape or size of the stations varies depending on the version of the system, available space and available budget.
Software
The easybike software is installed in the control and management center of the system as well as in the rental stations. The stations with the use of the software allow interaction with the user and provide information and bicycle collection and return services, while the control center takes care of the complete and orderly operation of the system and provides the possibility to issue data on billing, usage and on-line monitoring of the system .
The easybike Dockless/Freefloat system consists of either specially constructed electric bicycles with integrated GPS/GPRS system or electronic locking locks that adapt to any type of bicycle. It consists of the following elements:
